Always with a script in her bag, Kriti zips between sets

Only four films old, actor Kriti Sanon has an exciting lineup of projects this year. That includes — in various stages of production — Arjun Patiala, Panipat, Housefull 4, and the recently announced Luka Chuppi.

Hectic as her days are, Kriti is ecstatic to play varied roles in her upcoming projects. A source close to her reveals, “After Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), in which Kriti was appreciated for her performance, she has been getting really interesting offers. The roles that she has picked are very different from one another, and right now, she [is] hopping from one film set to another. Leaving no room for compromise, she’s working doubly hard to meet the timelines of her film-makers.”

The source adds, “Kriti shot for two weeks in London for Housefull 4, [and then] reported straight to the sets of Luka Chuppi in Gwalior (MP).”

On her back-to-back shoots, and the mental juggling that requires, Kriti says, “The day I wrapped shooting for Housefull 4 in London, I immediately started my prep for Luka Chuppi. I had taken my script along; I knew I wouldn’t have time to spare in between the two schedules. Having said that, I’m most happy with all that is happening. It’s an exciting time for me.”

Kriti is also excited about her first item number in Stree. In the song titled, Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe, an out-and-out dance number, she is matching steps with her Bareilly Ki Barfi co-star Rajkummar Rao.
