Right from the beginning of her career, she hasn’t been afraid to speak her mind on various issues. And now, Sonam K Ahuja is set to share her views at a prominent platform. We have learnt that the Neerja (2016) actor is set to participate in an engaging conversation — on September 9, Sunday — hosted by Algebra, the Arts & Ideas Club, in New Delhi.
“The best part about Sonam is that she isn’t just a popular film star but also a strong social voice, who wears her heart on her sleeve. That makes her relatable to millions of modern-day young girls across the country,” says an insider, close to her.
In July, the same platform had hosted author and politician Shashi Tharoor and filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. “As for Sonam, she will join other eminent personalities from various fields for a candid conversation on her professional choices, creative triggers, milestones of her life and the stories that move her,” the insider shares more about the event.
The Veere Di Wedding actor is believed to be “really excited” about sharing her views and giving insights into her life. “That’s why even though she is busy with the shooting of her next, The Zoya Factor, and postproduction work of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, she’s taking out time for the talk and will be travelling to the Capital for it,” the insider adds.
“Now, she is married, too, so Sonam has to divide her time between personal and professional commitments, but she is very excited about participating in the conversation.” Sonam couldn’t be reached for a comment.
