Arjun’s mantra for handling low phase and challenges

Actor Arjun Bijlani has had a consistently successful run with his shows. However, this doesn’t imply that the actor hasn’t battled any rough patches in his 14-year-long career. There was a time when a couple of his shows didn’t top the TRP charts, but he didn’t lose hope.

“I think you should utilise your time when you have a dull phase. Usually, a lot of people go into depression but I kept working on the flaws which I needed to improve upon,” says Arjun.

The actor, who has been part of hit shows such as Left Right Left, Miley Jab Hum Tum, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui, feels that it is important to have a set plan in the mind.

“I always had a clear vision that I had to do my thing whether work is happening or not, my work will be finally paid off. I think believing in yourself and, most importantly, believing in God keeps you motivated. Meditation helps focus on doing things in a different manner,” says Arjun.

Television is ever evolving with new faces being launched frequently. Does competition make him insecure? “There’s always going to be competition in every field. You can’t escape it. You need to keep improving yourself, reinventing yourself to take up greater challenges. I always apply this formula to face challenges. There’s space for everyone. The whole success mantra is believing in yourself.”

I think believing in yourself and most importantly believing in God keeps you motivated... You just need to keep improving yourself, grooming yourself, reinventing yourself to take up greater challenges.
