This bachelor has a new bachelor pad in town

Actor Sidharth Malhotra is very busy keeping his dates, well, with this shooting calendar. His hectic work schedule demands that he be shooting all over the country and around the globe. For instance, he has been shooting for his next film, Jabariya Jodi, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

But when this bachelor is back home in Mumbai, he has the perfect bachelor pad to cool it off. His newly-acquired house in Bandra, Mumbai, has been done up by Gauri Khan. A source close to the actor says, “Sidharth moved to Mumbai a decade ago and after a lot of thought, he finally settled on this place in Mumbai. Gauri worked closely with Sid to ensure that the space was an extension of his personality.”

However, Sid himself was quite kicked about getting the place decked up in his style, so despite his busy schedule, he went about picking up artefacts from around the world. “There is also a wall decorated with iconic film posters such as Scarface (1983 ) and The Godfather (1972 ), that is one of his touches to the house,” the source says.

We are also told that nowadays, the actor is seen relaxing near his ceiling-to-floor windows, and another of his favourite spot is the balcony that offers gorgeous views of the Mumbai skyline.

Ask Sidharth how he is liking spending time in his new home, and he says, “I am really enjoying spending time in this house. I have been shooting continuously and have had no time to spend in my bachelor pad. Now that I am back to Mumbai, I can unwind, have some tranquil time in my new house. Thanks to her (Gauri Khan) the house is warm and cosy, just the way I like it. I even shopped some stuff for my house.”
