She graduated to films from television this year, and actor Kritika Kamra says although she loves the small screen, it is far more exhausting than movies.

“TV is the more hectic of the two. It is physically more exhausting. I had to unlearn a lot for my film debut to get into this process. The number of things that you have to do while doing a film is far less. TV is instant gratification. And whatever it is good or bad, you get to know it and then you move on move on. You get another chance to improve the next day. In films you don’t get that. Here you have to give your best all the time,” shares the actor, who has been part of successful shows such as Kitani Mohabbat Hai and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

Kritika, who made her film debut this year reveals that it was not an easy journey to Bollywood and how despite having a successful television career, she faced her share of rejections.

“Any kind of rejection does make you feel bad, as things what you thought did not materialise. You are bound to be a bit disappointed. But I never really took a break from television to try my luck in films. I never said that I am only going to chase films,” she says.

However, she is quick to add that she didn’t let anything deter her spirit. “Every day I kept doing my work and when I look back now, I feel like it was worth the wait. Everything happens for the best,” the actor ends on a positive note.
