When Arjun decides to tie the knot, we’ll be there for him, says Sanjay
With several celebrity weddings taking place back to back, rumour mills are abuzz that actor Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora might also take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot next year. However, the two have neither admitted to being in a relationship nor have they addressed these marriage rumours. Interestingly, on a chat show recently, Arjun revealed that he is no longer single, is open to idea of getting married and wants someone who will bring stability to his life.
Now, the actor’s uncle, actor-producer Sanjay Kapoor, tells us that Arjun has reached a stage where it should not come as a surprise if he decides to settle down.
“See, his friends and colleagues are getting married. His cousin, Sonam (K Ahuja), got married this year. His good friend Ranveer (Singh) just got married. Eventually, I think he would want to get married as he has reached a certain stage, but it all depends on him as to when he wants to get married. The day he decides [to get married], we will be there for him,” shares Sanjay.
Arjun and Malaika were recently spotted seated together on a couch at Maheep Kapoor’s (Sanjay’s wife) house party. When asked if there is another wedding on the cards in the family, Sanjay dodges, “I don’t want to get into rumours, it is between Arjun and… You should ask him about that.”
Talking about his relationship with Arjun, Sanjay says that he shares a very special bond with him. He also says not just Arjun, in fact, all the young members in the family are very comfortable around him.
“My personality is such,” says Sanjay, adding, “I joke with them and Arjun has grown up with me. Also, Janhvi and Khushi [Kapoor; Boney Kapoor’s daughters] also join us for festivals and birthdays. I don’t behave like a chachu in front of them.”
