Katrina’s a diva in this song

Katrina Kaif is all set to sizzle in her solo number, Husn Parcham, from the upcoming Aanand L Rai directorial Zero. The song that releases today, will show glimpses of Katrina as superstar Babita Kumari. Katrina is essaying the role of a successful actor in the film, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The track has been composed by Ajay Atul and has been choreographed by Bosco Martis.

A source from the set says, “The trailer revealed the romantic liaison between Babita Kumari and the vertically challenged Bauua Singh. Played by Shah Rukh, Bauua Singh is a diehard fan of the superstar in the film. In the most pleasing turn of events, Bauua not just meets the actor but also gets a kiss from her. The first song, a romantic number titled Mere Naam Tu featuring Shah Rukh and Anushka, and the second song, Issaqbaazi, featuring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh, have received a roaring response from all quarters.”

Talking about the song, Katrina says, “Through Husn Parcham, Aanand sir wanted the audience to feel that this is what Buuaa has seen. This is who Babita Kumari is — happy, full of life, joyous and free. After a long time, I have again shot for a song that Bosco has choreographed, so that was nice. Both Aanand sir and Bosco were very clear that they just wanted the song to be a lot of fun and I guess that’s what’s really comes across on screen.”
