Shashank is single this Valentine’s Day too

Actor Shashank Vyas’ growing popularity and, especially, his increasing female fan following is quite evident. And one question that fans always have on their mind is: Who is the Balika Vadhu actor dating? The TV actor shares that he is in love with his work at the moment and will only settle down when he finds the right partner. And yes marriage is on his mind, as he wants to take the next step soon. Excerpts:

Are you planning to settle down anytime soon?

I am in love with my career. I surely want to fall in love. I also want to have my ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ moment but for that I need to find the right girl, jisko dekh ke dil mein baje guitar. I am single this Valentine’s Day too (laughs).

What kind of a life partner are you looking for?

Someone who would understand me and my work. She should be smart and intelligent. As my work is full of hectic schedules, gossip, rumours, so she should be capable of understanding all these things as well.

There were speculations about you dating actors Shivani Surve and Adaa Khan...

They were just rumours. Shivani is a good co-star and Adaa is a good friend. There is nothing more to it. I make proper use my two ears for such rumours — listen everything through one, and let it out through the other. I have better things to focus my energies on.

Is there anyone special in your life right now or are you crushing on someone?

No, as I have said, this V-Day, I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any crushes as of now. I guess I have passed that stage. Candy floss romance doesn’t turn me on. My work and career are my love at the moment. I go to gym, then shoot, and then come back home — that’s the only life I know of as a daily soap actor. I’m looking forward to love happening sometime soon.

Are you okay with dating someone from the industry?

I have no such inhibitions. We, both, as individuals should feel the connect and enjoy each other’s company, and nothing else matters. In a relationship, nothing scares me. Everything comes as a part and parcel of life. If I am scared, I will not be able to enjoy being in love.
