Nora Fatehi turns up the heat with Marjaavaan’s latest song

-

Nora Fatehi’s dance moves in chartbusters such as Dilbar in Satyameva Jayate (2018) and Saki Saki in Batla House, among others, has made her a household name. But the actor, who is of late focusing more on performance-oriented roles like the one in Batla House, agreed to do the song Ek Toh Kum Zindagani in the upcoming film Marjaavaan, that too for free.

And Nora has a special reason — she feels grateful to filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and producer Bhushan Kumar who offered her the song Dilbar, which proved to be the turning point for her career. The Marjaavaan song is a recreated version of the classic Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo (Jaanbaaz; 1986) and is not an item number but a dance number essential to the film’s narrative. The song is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi with additional lyrics by AM Toraz and Tanishk. It is sung by Neha Kakkar and choreographed by Adil Shaikh.

“Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani sir gave me the opportunity of a lifetime with Dilbar and Saki Saki. I will always be grateful to them for their belief and trust in me. They are like the guiding forces of my journey in Bollywood. Nikkhil sir works really hard in the way he positions his movies and songs, whether it is the script or the visuals. It is always a delight to work with him and his team,” says Nora.

Director Milap Zaveri adds, “Nora has been a lucky charm for us right from Dilbar to Saaki Saaki. We are thrilled to have her back for Ek Toh Kum Zindagani. I am delighted to have such an iconic song in Marjaavaan. The moment Bhushan sir suggested it to me I jumped with joy. Adil has done a fabulous job choreographing it and Nora’s dance moves are going to set the floor on fire! We are hoping for a hat-trick of super hits with her.”

Marjaavaan produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series) and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment) will release on November 8.
