Delhi-based Sonakshi Arora recently posted a photo of her husband Mohit Bhutani, with the tag ‘husband’ on his forehead (above), much like actor Deepika Padukone’s post with Ranveer Singh. “We do things that are similar to Deep-Veer. So, when I saw her post, I had to do it,” says Arora.
Couples in Delhi-NCR, who are now getting muchneeded ‘we-time’ thanks to the lockdown, are deriving inspiration from celebrity couples — DeepikaRanveer, Sonam KapoorAnand Ahuja and Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli — who’ve been setting couple goals on social media.
Recently, Sharma barged into a live video of Kohli with cricketer Kevin Peterson, saying, “Chalo chalo dinner time”. This inspired Arneet Singh, who recreated the act with her husband. “Raghav has been working 24x7. So, when I wanted us to eat together, I used Sharma’s tactic and it worked,” says Singh.
Bollywood stars are setting fresh couple goals amid the lockdown and keeping themselves busy with different fun activities. Outlining the significance of staying fit, couples — Deepika PadukoneRanveer Singh and Sushmita Sen-Rohman Shawl — have been working out together. DeepVeer have also been goofy with their posts, including one in which Padukone pulled off a Marie Kondo act by labelling her husband, well, husband!
Actor Anushka Sharma, who is spending her lockdown days with hubby, Indian skipper Virat Kohli, recently posted a cosy family picture and wrote, “There is a lesson to strive for work and life balance, there is a lesson to devote more time in things that actually matter.”
Actor-singer Shibani Dandekar snuggled up to her “better half”, actor Farhan Akhtar, for a picture and stated they “clearly didn’t get the social distancing memo”. Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a picture in which she was all cuddled up to her husband, singer Nick Jonas.
