Syed Rafath Parveen’s father, Syed Ahmad AliShah says, “The dominant thought that convinced us to go ahead with organ donation was to help humanity and keep my daughter alive in others. Organ donation is a gift to people who may not have any other chance of survival, to give them an opportunity to live, with better quality of life. Creating value for our patients was at the helm of our lab’s philosophy since inception and is a part of every process here at Dr Dangs Lab . The entire drive-through process was created on the same lines, to increase safety and convenience, to serve the masses who required a quick and accurate Covid-19 RTPCR test.
The principles instilled by my parents helped me see this vision to fruition. They taught me the success mantra of three As for any doctor — ability, affability, accessibility. I’ve always tried my level best to live up to this 3A mantra. The one advice I will always uphold is that compassion and care must remain at the core of our personalised quality-driven services.
It’s very important to focus on what you are doing, than what others think about this whole movement. You can’t change what people think; you just have to stay focused, and do your bit. All the people trying to pull you down, they slowly give up. There is work happening, lives are being saved and changed. There are all kinds of people; you don’t have to think about them. I saw the positive side of the whole movement. I am trying to inspire people to come forward and give back to others. That has been my ambition, goal and motive. That’s what I have been doing.
