To distract themselves from the current gloom and spread some positivity on their social media feeds, many netizens are turning to online trends and challenges. One such popular trend is Runaway Aurora, in which people are sharing stunning silhouettes against the backdrop of the sky with filters, and the 2016 song Runaway by Norwegian artiste Aurora playing in the background. This trend has helped boost the popularity of the song, making it rise in charts, and Aurora is a little surprised by it “especially because it is happening so many years after the release”. “However, I’m moved and grateful that people have let Runaway into their hearts,” she says.

The singer-songwriter believes that “music has a magical way of speaking to us and being a friend in times of difficulties”. “I always believed Runaway was meant to be a good friend to people. I can understand why this song has been important for people in India now,” the 24-year-old says.

On the inspiration behind the song, she shares, “[The inspiration] is the same thing that people are going through right now, where you carry a lot of darkness, fear, sorrow and anxiety in you. I wrote it after experiencing someone pass

Aing away, and how difficult it can be to carry sorrow within you.”

Despite the popularity of the song now due to the viral trend, Aurora states it doesn’t matter to her much. “Success isn’t really that important as long as you have the things you need... What makes me happy is to make music and not to see what happens with it in the world. I’d be happy if this song takes me to India. It has been a long due dream,” she concludes. ctor couple Mohit Malik and Aditi Shirwaikar Malik have become proud parents of a boy on April 27. The couple took to Instagram to share the good news and captioned the post, “Dear Universe, Thank you for this blessing! Thank you for these midnight cries and all that comes with it...”

As they welcome ‘Baby Malik’ to the world, the “euphoric” father is feeling over the moon. He says, “It’s a whole new feeling that I am experiencing. We have a new member, a new friend, another soul with us. Euphoric is the word.”

However, the actor could not be the birth companion with his wife during her delivery. He shares, “I couldn’t be with her because of Covid-19 restrictions.” Nevertheless, he recalls the moment when he held the baby in his arms. “It was magical. Those first few steps I took towards the baby, I don’t even remember. My mind stopped working. Those were the best 15 seconds of my life,” he says.

Talking about how he will juggle between daddy duties and work, he says he hasn’t come up with a plan yet. “Aditi and I, we both believe in living in the moment. I’m a workaholic, but I haven’t planned anything. It still takes me by surprise that I have a baby now,” he shares.

The couple had shortlisted names for a boy and a girl. He reveals, “I desired to have a baby girl, but we have picked a couple of names that we will reveal soon.”
