Soha Ali Khan had been shooting for her debut web series in the Capital amid the second wave of the pandemic, before all shoots had to be halted. The actor says that it was not easy shooting during these tough times, but the show had to go on. However, she credits her mother, actor Sharmila Tagore’s homemade immunity-boosting remedies for making things a little easier for her.

“The new normal has forced everyone to take extra measures, especially if you have senior citizens or children at home,” Khan shares, adding, “I ensured that I was taking the necessary measures, such as wearing a mask, washing my hands or using a sanitiser regularly. And I work on managing my family’s immunity with simple remedies I picked up from my mum. She inculcated healthy habits in all the kids from an early age and I credit her for how I’m today.”

With her three-year-old daughter,

Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, at home, has she been taking some special precautions? “Small kids are usually fussy eaters, but training them the right way helps in building a diligent schedule for their body. I include a handful of almonds in her daily food.

Inaaya also understands the need to wear a mask and we avoid stepping out of the house,” the Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 (2018) actor tells us.

She also emphasises on the need to keep Inaaya active throughout the day so that the lockdown fatigue doesn’t hit her. Khan shares, “My daughter joins me sometimes in our family yoga or zumba sessions once a week. It is adorable to see her exercising with us. As they say, like mother, like daughter!”
