When people come together to help, miracles are born. Thane-based Minal Vernekar succumbed to Covid-19, moments after giving birth to a boy. As the child was allergic to formula milk, several lactating women reached out to offer their breast milk. Chetan Vernekar, the father, has been left overwhelmed by the selfless gesture.
Singer Lata Mangeshkar, in cooperation with Hridaynath and Dr Dhananjay Kelkar, has come to the rescue of scores of people. Compassion is contagious.
