Arjun all set for a kickoff, is the face of LaLiga in India

If there’s anything that comes close to actor Arjun Kapoor’s love for cinema, it is his connect with football. Now, in an exciting development, he has been roped in as the face of the popular Spanish football

league, LaLiga, in India. “Yes, the league has signed Arjun as the face of one of the world’s most popular league in the country. For the same, he will have strategic set of commitments to boost the popularity of Spanish football in India,” confirms an insider close to the development. Arjun is also the co-owner of FC Pune City that plays in the Indian Soccer League (ISL). “As the face of the league, Arjun will also travel to Spain and promote the top matches of the league,” says the insider.

Arjun is happy about getting an opportunity to understand the game from close quarters. “Since I am also working towards popularising football in India, I take every opportunity provided by LaLiga to understand world class football leagues and their infrastructure in person. I look forward to watching LaLiga games and exploring different aspects of this league in Spain,” he says.
