German federal minister to visit farm centre

RANCHI: German federal minister for economic cooperation and development, Dr Gerd Mueller will visit the Krishi Gram Vikas Kendra (KGVK) at Rukka on Tuesday. Dr Mueller will see the work done under green college initiative, a joint effort of Welthungerhilfe and KGVK and is funded by the German organizations, Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and GIZ.The program envisages developing entrepreneurs from the tribal and weaker sections by providing training and capacity building to build a cadre of animal health workers and dairy entrepreneurs.
