Assistant postal superintendent of West Singhbhum, Awadh Bihari Singh told HT Gangajal will be available from July 25, the first Monday of the month.

He said, “The cost of each bottle containing 100 ml or 500 ml water is between `10 and `35.”

The temples where Gangajal will be available include Mahadevshal temple in Goilkera, Murga Mahadev in Noamundi, Harina Dham in Potka, Rankini Mandir in Jadugora and Jamshedpur, Chitteshwar Dham in Bahragora and Golpahari in Jamshedpur.

Singh said the initiative to supply Gangajal was taken after a directive from the state headquarters.

“However, the demand for water from Rishikesh is high, but it is available in limited quantity,” he said.
