Cricket association to select members through test
RANCHI: Brush up on your general knowledge on cricket and other sports if you aspire for an elite membership of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA).
Inundated with frequent and repeated requests for its coveted membership, the association has come out with a qualifying written ‘membership test’ — unheard of anywhere in the country — for entry into any of the sports associations.
The JSCA has come out with a test format of 40 questions, of which, 20 questions would be on international and domestic cricket and five questions each on international and domestic sports — excluding cricket — India, Jharkhand and general knowledge.
The objective test will be conducted on October 16 at JSCA International Stadium Complex from 10am.
The application forms for the test will be available from at the JSCA academy office on payment of `500 from September 27 till October 5. Only the first 2,000 applicants’ forms will be accepted for a maximum of 50 new members to be enrolled on the basis of performance in the test.
