CBI files closure report in British woman’s death

PANAJI: Six years after 35-yearold British woman Denyse Sweeney was found dead near Anjuna beach in Goa, the CBI has filed a closure report as no evidence of assault or homicide has been found. The 50-page closure report was filed by a special CBI team that came from Mumbai. Forensical­ly, the cause of death was cerebral pulmonary oedema, or accumulati­on of fluid in brain and lungs. There was no evidence of assault or homicide and no eyewitness or circumstan­tial evidence.
