CBI files closure report in British woman’s death
PANAJI: Six years after 35-yearold British woman Denyse Sweeney was found dead near Anjuna beach in Goa, the CBI has filed a closure report as no evidence of assault or homicide has been found. The 50-page closure report was filed by a special CBI team that came from Mumbai. Forensically, the cause of death was cerebral pulmonary oedema, or accumulation of fluid in brain and lungs. There was no evidence of assault or homicide and no eyewitness or circumstantial evidence.
