The internet giant launched five services specific to India
YouTuBe Go: You can stream videos on slow internet connections, as well as share videos without consuming data.
The Google Assistant in Hindi: The chatbot is now learning Hindi. It will reply — dubbed Smart Reply — in Hindi. Available on messaging app Allo by the year-end.
Google Station: There will be an easy set-up, including software and hardware, to install free wi-fi hotspots in public places such as malls Data-light Chrome and News: The browser will now consume 90% less data while opening pages, and 67% less while viewing videos. The News app will show headlines on slow connections
Faster 2G Browsing: Google Play will now pre-load popular parts of the store on wi-fi and give users option to install apps only through wi-fi
