The Chhattisgarh Government has recently launched the 'Mahatari Vandan Yojana-2024'. The scheme promises a monthly financial assistance of `1000, translating to an annual aid of `12,000 per beneficiary.

PM Narendra Modi introduced the slogan “Humne hi banaya hai, hum hi savarenge (We have made it, we will nurture it)”.

Strong women lead to flourishing families, which in turn lead to thriving societies, and ultimately to prosperous states. This is why PM Modi initiated the 'Mahatari Vandan Yojana', and CM Vishnu Deo Sai launched it to honour women's hard work by presenting them with monetary rewards. The introduction of 'Mahatari Vandan Yojana-2024' reflects the State Government’s commitment to gender empowerment and socio-economic development. This initiative not only addresses immediate financial needs but also strives to create a conducive environment for women to thrive through skill enhancement and entrepreneurial endeavours.

As Chhattisgarh takes a progressive step in uplifting its female population, Mahatari Vandan Yojana stands as a beacon of inclusive and impactful governance. This approach aligns with the broader goal of creating a more economically empowered female population in the state. Beyond the immediate financial relief, the scheme places a strong emphasis on fostering self-reliance among women. The application process for Mahatari Vandan Yojana is facilitated online, ensuring accessibility and convenience for potential beneficiaries. The scheme is designed to benefit all married women in Chhattisgarh between 23 to 60 year of age.
