India’s coolest and first retro station that relives the nostalgia of ’70s, ’80s and ’90s music, Radio Nasha, recently celebrated its first anniversary in Delhi and Mumbai. The celebrations were marked in the presence of CEO of Fever FM, Harshad Jain and Group CEO for HT Media, Rajeev Verma in Delhi. The cake cutting ceremony at the radio Nasha Mumbai studios was carried out by filmmaker Subhash Ghai. The station has had an extremely exciting and power-packed year — it was ranked number 3 within 18 weeks of its launch and number 2 within 36 weeks of its launch. It is the first station that brought celebrities such as Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Salim Khan and Kunal Kohli as RJS. 52 weeks have had 52 celebrities as Radio Nasha Super Stars too. Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Dharmendra, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, and Jeetendra, among other superstars from the era of ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s hosted week-long shows as Radio Nasha Super Stars On the occasion of the first anniversary Jain said, “The first anniversary of Radio Nasha is an extremely important and momentous occasion for us. Radio Nasha has become the first destination station of the country. We are proud to have had a number of firsts in the radio industry to our credit. Celebrity programming is key to our content strategy and we will continue to bring the most loved stars of ’70s, ’80s, ’90s as Radio Nasha RJS.”

Actor Swara Bhaskar, who is known for being outspoken, says she isn’t hesitant of speaking her mind, as she doesn’t have much to lose. “I am not Shah Rukh Khan or Aamir Khan. I don’t have crores of endorsements to lose. I don’t have the kind of visibility that they have. I don’t have lots of property or companies. And I don’t think Bollywood is that narrow minded that they would not cast me in a film because of what I think,” Swara said. The actor added that the producers would often tell her to keep a check on what she says. “My producers sometimes get a little like, ‘Swara, can you not say so much?’. So now I have a plan. I will say whatever I want to say two months prior to the release of my film. Then, I will keep myself calm and I will only post about my film,” she added.
