Tiger is a genuine guy: Nidhhi Agerwal

- Pooja Sharma

Nidhhi Agerwal is making her Bollywood debut with Munna Michael. The actor, who is having mixed feelings at the moment, says, “Everyone around me is very happy, seeing me on posters and in songs. I feel extremely happy too. But I am also nervous because none of this has happened in my life before. I want it to go right.” On sharing the frame with Tiger Shroff, Nidhhi says, “I have no prior experience. I haven’t been an assistant director or been on a film set in my life. So, Tiger really helped me a lot. He would tell me about camera angles before a scene and the technical details. We get along really well. Tiger is a genuine guy.” And on getting an opportunity to work with the talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui, she says, “I was just observing him a lot, and what he does before a take. He is just so natural. He is born for the camera. Both me and Tiger find him really cool and funny. He is great to work with.” Nidhhi always harboured showbiz dreams. “Acting is something I always wanted to do. In my head, I knew I would be an actor. And, that someone will see my Facebook profile picture someday or spot me somewhere and offer a film. It obviously didn’t happen that way. But I knew it would happen. Then I started modelling and receiving south film offers, so I became more confident. I was obsessed with the movies,” says the young actor. From the actors she looks up to and if she has a role model, Nidhhi says, “The one person I really admire is Deepika Padukone. Maybe, it is the Bangalore connect but I am not sure. I like her a lot and even the (film) choices she has made.”
