Did Barun get kissing scene cut? He reacts

- Shreya Mukherjee

Actor Barun Sobti speaks his mind, especially when it’s about clarifying his stand. So, when asked about reports suggesting that he asked the makers of his upcoming film, Tu Hai Mera Sunday, to tone down an intimate scene in order to keep his TV image intact, the actor says, “I don’t know where such stories are coming from.” The scene between Barun and his co-star Shahana Goswami in Tu Hai Mera Sunday is reportedly a kissing scene. The actor had earlier told us that he had no issues doing intimate scenes, but he wasn’t comfortable kissing on screen. “We figured out this whole thing together. Once you watch the film, you realise that it’s only at the end that their love story even starts. The whole track is about how people fall in love. I don’t know [who] made news out of this. We just did what we needed to do with the script,” Barun explains. Meanwhile, on the small screen, Barun’s ongoing show will go off the air this week. Apparently, the reason behind its abrupt end is its low TRP. Confirming this, the actor says, “Yes, the show is coming to an end and it wasn’t pre-planned. The show was meant to be a one-year finite series, but it didn’t work out the way we expected it to. So, we decided to end it.” Barun was paired with Shivani Tomar on the fiction show, which went on the air in July this year.
