Aashka turns financial advisor for her staff

An actor is expected to be able to portray different roles onscreen. Aashka Goradia is doing that in real life, too. She is playing a financial advisor to her staff, and providing investment solutions to them. This comes naturally to her as she’s someone who is very careful with her money. “I’ve always been alert about my finances and where my money goes. I think it is important for every person to understand what kind of profit they can get by making the right kind of investment,” says Aashka. And how does she go about helping her staff members? “Firstly, I make sure that they know the importance of savings. I also focus on making them understand the value of insurance and why they must have both health and life insurance. Once both are done, that’s when I encourage them to further invest,” says the actor, who has been part of shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Baal Veer and Naagin. On the personal front, the 31-year-old got engaged to her long-time American boyfriend Brent Goble in July, in a Hindu ceremony. The couple had also participated in a dance reality show together. They will tie the knot in December this year.
