It’s not just the chemistry between the lead actors, Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani, or director Mohit Suri’s versatilit­y that gives it an edge, but everything about the romantic-thriller, Malang, doubles up as a mystery. The trailer, posters and songs have all managed to impress the audience. Producer Bhushan Kumar says, “Malang is a perfect Mohit Suri kind of film filled with emotions, twists and turns, high on music and thrills that will keep you on the edge of your seat.” Adding to this, producer Ankur Garg says, “Malang unleashes madness, liveliness, spirit and passion.” Producer Luv Ranjan says, “Malang has many elements that make it an exciting edgeof-the-seat experience.” The film stars Aditya in a never-seen-before action avatar. Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu play the roles of police officers in the film and add the much-needed mystery to the storyline. With tracks such as Humraah, Chal Ghar Chale and Hui Malang, the music has become an instant hit. Talking about the movie, Mohit says, “Malang is a film that has the energy of today’s time, and a heart that’s classic. It’s a rollercoas­ter of many emotions, which makes it very interestin­g. I’m extremely happy to bring this film to the audience and look forward to its release.” Malang is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by T-series’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Northern Lights Entertainm­ent’s Jay Shewakrama­ni. Malang releases today.
