Sonu Sood’s bus charity spurs meme fest

When Sonu Sood began by arranging for bus services to help migrant workers reach their hometowns, little did he know his philanthropy will trigger memes.

The actor’s social media is flooded with praises and messages from migrants and celebrities alike. Union Minister Smriti Irani, actors Rajkummar Rao, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Tabu, filmmakers Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty among others have applauded his efforts. But that’s not all, social media is abuzz with memes on Sood, some of which he shared on his Twitter profile.

The latest was the ‘breaking news’ of a biopic being made on Sood, starring Akshay Kumar. Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta even reached out to Sood asking to buy the rights and posted the actor’s response on his Twitter handle.
