Raj didn’t force me to do anything, the films are not porn: Gehana
After Raj Kundra’s arrest on July 19, for his alleged connection with making and distributing pornographic films, Gehana Vasisth claims that this is a ploy to frame those involved with the app. The actor, who has done multiple projects for the app, is out on bail for the same case. She clarifies, “There’s no censorship on web platforms. But the videos that we’ve made for the app, in no way can you call it porn. These are in the same category of content that big OTT platforms make. Why are they tagged as bold and ours is called porn? These are normal bold erotic films.”
The Gandii Baat actor says Kundra never forced her to do anything. “Mujhse wahi kaam karaya gaya hai jo script di gayi thi. None of those were in the category of porn. We are being framed,” she asserts.
Vasisth, who was arrested in February, claims the Crime Branch made a false case to implicate her without proof. “It was reported that I was caught making porn in a bungalow in Madh Island (Mumbai). My charge sheet said I resisted the confiscation of my phone and laptop. But the truth is I was picked up from my house with no warrant and I willingly gave up my belongings,” she alleges, adding that if she were guilty, she’d have sought anticipatory bail, which she did not. “I was framed, the charges were fabricated and I was in jail for five months,” she concludes.
