The pandemic has led to much uncertainty in everyone’s life and Farah Khan is no different. While the director-choreographer admits that life has been kind to her, she feels not knowing what will happen next is really stressing.

“It has been an extremely taxing and challenging phase for people across the planet. People who say they enjoyed the lockdown need to get one…,” she laughs, adding, “No matter how comfortable you’re, no one enjoys sitting at home with so much uncertainty and anxiety around. I’m not complaining as life has been kind to me but when you don’t know what will happen next it does stress you as a mother, as well as a professional.”

Even amid the crisis, the filmmaker had some positive things to learn. “I was supposed to start my film last year but it got delayed. Today, when I look back, I think achaa hua nai chalu hui, warna atak jaati. This pandemic has taught me a lesson — things happen when they have to happen and unknowingly we just waste our lives running in the mad race,” she shares. No wonder Khan isn’t in a hurry to start any new project at the moment and says, “When two years of backlog of films will finally release, tab mauhol thoda acha hoga. Only then things will show up for all of us. Planning is in full swing and things are in pipeline, but I’m not taking any stress, jab hoga tab hoga.”

The choreographer is however excited to be back at work and is enjoying her time judging a reality show on TV.” “It’s a fun, comedy show, and I love being back on sets finally after all these months... I love to laugh and make others laugh too in these testing times,” Khan signs off.
