BARMER BJP WORKERS MIFFED AT RAJE
While chief minister Vasundhara Raje is busy showcasing her government’s developmental agenda in western Rajasthan ever since the announcement of setting up of a refinery, party workers in Barmer say the government has done too little and too late.
At a meeting chaired by Mahendra Singh Rathore-- who has recently been made district in-charge party-- workers expressed their anger at being ignored by the state leadership.
Workers told Rathore that despite the party being in power at the Centre and the state, neither officials nor senior leaders bother to listen to them.
Ambalal Albela, a district party worker said that leaders need workers only when elections approach and during the rest of the time they are ignored. “If the party doesn’t change the attitude, it should be ready for a loss in the next election,” he said.
BJP leader Harisingh Sodha said party leaders have no time for grassroots workers.
