3. Prioritise well. There will inevitably be times when you have too many things to be done. 4. Set reasonable limits. A common mistake we tend to make when planning our work is to be excessively unreasonable with ourselves, setting too high a target which is not achievable. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind the various extraneous factors that are not within our control when we sit down to organizing ourselves.
5. Set a structure. Often, we tend to associate structure with imposed tasks and subsequently run away from it. However, incorporating a structured routine actually allows us to utilize our time and energy better, thereby giving us more scope to enjoy and relax as well!
6. Organise ALL aspects. Remember, organising oneself should not be restricted to simply work or academics, but should also be ensured across all other aspects of life including one’s personal functioning. Therefore, these skills need to be spilling over across these spheres, which is the only way to ensure a smooth sailing.
