West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic is keen to bring in one more player before the transfer window closes but admits he may have to rush through another deal if he loses someone from his tight squad.West Ham have strengthened with five new players .

“We will see what happens in the last week of the transfer window, if somebody is going to leave or come in,” Bilic told reporters ahead of Wednesday’s League Cup match against Cheltenham Town.

“I’m happy with the squad now. I would like to have one more and after that, if somebody leaves we have to fill that gap because we don’t have a big squad.

Juergen Klopp has said he has no problems with Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho and is ready to welcome the Brazilian back into the squad. Klopp has maintained he does not want to sell Coutinho, who missed Liverpool’s first three matches of the season due to a back injury.

Liverpool have rejected three bids from Barca including the one last week

“You asked is everything okay between us? I answered with of course. Yes, indeed, absolutely, 100 percent,” Klopp told reporters on Tuesday, adding that there was no concrete date for the 25-year-old’s return. Leicester City must maintain squad depth to deal with the demands of the Premier League season, manager Craig Shakespeare said on Tuesday after giving several fringe players a run-out in a 4-1 League Cup win at Sheffield United.

“It was important to give the fringe players, or those who haven’t played, some game time and when you do that you hope they’ll respond in the right way,” Shakespeare told reporters.

“They’re part of the squad and they carry on.

“We’ll need everyone as we go along because it’s a tough old season in the Premier League and whether it’s a loss of form, a change of tactics or injuries, you have all that to contend with.”
