Govt engineer abducted in Arunachal Pradesh
ITANAGAR:
A government engineer has been abducted by suspected ULFA(I) militants from Bordumsa in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district, police said on Wednesday. Bedanta Kumar Sinha, a resident engineer of the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, was abducted from his house on Sunday, Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Nabin Payeng said. The engineer hails from Bihar and has been living here for a month. “We are yet to establish the identity of the group but we suspect it could be the handiwork of ULFA (I),” police said.
