Trial: As per the case details, on May 15, Rajesh heard some noise from his daughter’s room and allegedly found Aarushi and Hemraj in an intimate position. He killed them with a golf club
Conviction: Talwars were sentenced to life by a CBI court in Ghaziabad on Nov 26, 2013. Legal experts questioned the verdict as the judge based the conviction on a chain of 26 circumstances. The couple later challenged their conviction in the Allahabad high court.
