Modi slams Cong over note ban protest

-

Prime Minister Narender Modi on Saturday slammed Congress over it’s call to observe “black day” on November 8, the first anniversary of demonetisation.

“Congress is observing “black money day” on November 8. They have planned to burn my effigies, “said Modi addressing a rally at Rait in Shahpur assembly segment of Kangra district.

Calling himself a disciple of Sardar Patel, Modi said nothing would deter him from continuing his fight against corruption .

“Only dishonest are crying hoarse,” he added.

Likening Congress with termites, Modi said people to wipe out the party to get rid of it forever. Firing another salvo at Congress, the prime minister said the party has already conceded defeated in Himachal and has left the battlefield.

“No big Congress leader is coming to Himachal. At this stage of life, Congress has left, rather hanged, Virbhadra on his fate,” Modi mocked at 83-yearold chief minister of Himachal.

He said it seems that Congress was taking some sort of revenge from the old leader.

Response of people of Himachal Pradesh, Modi said, reflects which way the wind was blowing. “For many years, Congress will not be visible even through the magnifying glass,” said Modi.
