UGC to revise NET syllabus for first time in 10 years
NEW DELHI:
The curriculum of NET, a countrywide examination mandatory for people eyeing teaching jobs in colleges and universities, will be revised for the first time in a decade, said UGC officials. The UGC, India’s apex education regulator, has set up committees to revise the syllabus of each of the subjects to reflect changes in what is being taught in higher education institutions, according to senior officials.
