Delhi lieutenant governor, Anil Baijal visited the Bawana industrial area on Sunday morning. BJP MLA Vijender Gupta who was at the hospital said this was not the time for politics or blame game, but added that a special assembly session should be called to address the issue.

North Delhi municipal corporation mayor Preeti Aggarwal, of the BJP, was purportedly caught on video cautioning her aides not to speak about the building in Bawana, because its license was with the civic body. “Is factory ki license hamare paas hai. Isliye kuch nahi bolna (license of this factory is with us. So we should not speak against it).”
