Raje meets youth for budget inputs
Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday received inputs from youth including professionals, women entrepreneurs and students on budget.
“The budget will be prepared after taking valuable suggestions from our talented youth of the state,” Raje said in a statement after meeting them at chief minister’s office on Saturday.
During her interaction, Raje pointed that the state has achieved many milestones among leading states in many areas and the work done over the last four years in Rajasthan has surpassed that of the past. “With your valuable suggestions, we were able to effectively implement welfare schemes,” she said. Raje also talked about the importance of women empowerment.
She said that to make new schemes, it was necessary to have realisation of ground realities. “Our aim is to prepare budget focusing on local requirements. Along with it, our effort is also to include the suggestions from youth and other talented people to provide pace to growth in the state,” added Raje.
Every year before budget, the chief minister consults a wide range of people for their opinions. Senior government officials of the finance department were also present on the occasion.
This will be the last budget before the state goes to elections in November or December.
