Gujarat man held for killing 70yrold, raping 3yrold

An autorickshaw driver was arrested in Rajkot for robbing and killing a 70-year-old woman and then raping and murdering a three-year-old girl in less than 24 hours last week, police said on Wednesday. Officials said Ramesh Vaidhukiya killed Asma Sadikot in Parabazar area on February 7 and fled with her jewellery. The police, who arrested Vaidhukiya on February 10 in connection with the case, learnt about his involvement in another crime after a three-yearold’s body was found near Chunarwada the next day.
