Tendulkar takes the lead in hailing India’s achievement
India made history on Tuesday by defeating South Africa by 73 runs in the fifth ODI at Port Elizabeth to record their first series win in the Rainbow Nation.
A host of cricketers, present and past, took to Twitter to hail the achievement.
At the forefront was Sachin Tendulkar, who made a special reference to the efforts of the wrist spinners, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Kuldeep and Chahal have been the architects of India’s win in the series as the duo has claimed 30 wickets between them so far.

MATCH WINNER Tendulkar also praised fellow Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma who scored a match-winning hundred to walk away with the man-of-the match award on Tuesday.
Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina, Aakash Chopra and VVS Laxman were among other members of the cricket fraternity who hailed India’s series clinching victory on the micro blogging site.
