Lease deed scam: Cong to lodge complaint at all police stations

Jaipur Congress president Pratap Singh Khachariyawas Monday said the entire state was gripped by corruption and mis-governance as the BJP government has failed on all fronts. He alleged that lease deeds were being forged at the municipal corporation but because of involvement of government and civic body officials , no cases have been lodged.

The Congress will lodge police complaints at all respective police stations of 91 wards on March 14 demanding probe into the lease deed scam. Khachariyawas said Congress will start march in all the wards to raise the issue.

He said the BJP government has lost people’s faith and now not much of time is left with them. People have decided to teach lesson to the government and now coalition will work.

“The BJP is making leaders change their groups but this would not heal the injuries. MLA Kirori Lal Meena joining BJP will not affect the Congress, rather people will make more efforts to defeat BJP,” he said.

Launching, ‘Shakti’, an initiative of AICC to connect with grassroots workers, he appealed all workers to connect with the initiative by sending their voter ID number. AICC secretary Vivek Bansal said to give new voice to workers across the country, connect with youth and having direct dialogue, party president Rahul Gandhi has initiated Shakti.
