“On a 60-foot road area, a dairy owner fired at the protesters from his rooftop, leaving three of the protesters injured,” the district police chief said.

The agitated crowd burnt his house and two vehicles. Later, the crowd gathered outside NEB police station and started pelting stones. Police dispersed the crowd by lobbing tear gas shells later and even opened fire. The police also fired twice in the air to disperse the crowd.
