Ranthambore, Sariska DCFs among 36 officials transferred
The Rajasthan government late on Sunday transferred 36 Indian Forest service officials, including the deputy conservators of forest (DCFs) of Ranthambore and Sariska tiger reserves. It also placed two officers — Khyati Mathur and Anoop KR — on awaiting posting order (APO).
The two reserves remained in headlines this year after witnessing deaths of four tigers this year —three including two cubs in Ranthambore and one in Sariska.
In addition, one tigress had gone off radar in February 21 from Sariska and is now being presumed dead by the forest department.
Ranthambore DCF Bijo Joy has been transferred to Udaipur as DCF, wildlife, while Balaji Kari of Sariska has been shunted to Mount Abu as DCF, departmental operational division (DOD).
On APO, Bharat Taimni has been posted as additional principal chief conservator of forest (APCCF) EGS.
APCCF Rajeev Kumar Goyal has been given charge of eco tourism; Indraj Khanna transferred to forest protection; Ashok Kumar B Ramtek to CAMPA; Dr Ramesh Chandra to production; Arindam Tomar to Jaipur; and PK Upadhyay as project director, Rajasthan Forestry and Bio Diversity project, Jaipur.
IFS Ajay Kumar Gupta has been transferred to Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board as member secretary; Hans Raj as chief conservator of forests (CCF), departmental operation scheme, Jaipur; and KCA Arun Prasad to flood prone river project.
Conservator of forest Rajiv Chaturvedi has been transferred to medicinal plant division, Jaipur; Akanksha Mahajan (training); and Shelja Deval (Wildlife) Jaipur.
Deputy Conservator of forest Amar Singh Gothwal to Pratapgarh; Heth Ram to Hanumangarh; T Mohan to Raj Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve, Kota; Supang Shashi (Shriganganagar); Sugna Ram (Banswara); Ashutosh Jha (Jaisalmer); Monali Sen, planning (wildlife), Jaipur; Ashok Kumar Mehriya (Jaisalmer); Savita Dahiya (Chittorgarh); Alok Nath (Alwar); Ramanand (Dausa); VK Kumar (Bharatpur) and Mohit Gupta to Nagaur.
