Public representatives have duty of serving people: CM
Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Monday said that public representatives and government employees are two categories who have the responsibility of serving people.
The chief minister was addressing ‘prabodhaks’ (para teachers), who had come to extend their gratitude at her official residence at Civil Lines in Jaipur. Raje said people have high hopes from government employees and they (employees) should fulfil the responsibilities and should win peoples’ faith. “People should have the feeling that we are always ready to help them,” she said.
The CM said the entire country has praised the works that have been done in the field of education and it has been possible only because of the teachers. She said all teachers should take the oath to take the state ahead.

her last tenure, Raje had felt the pain of para teachers getting a meagre honorarium and she made a separate cadre and appointed them on the post of ‘prabodhak’. “Today, they are getting a salary equivalent to grade III teacher and even ‘prabodhaks’ were given the status of level 1 and level 2. A committee has been formed to consider the promotion of ‘prabodhaks’,” said Devnani.
Earlier, Rajasthan Rajya Karamchari Sanyukt Mahasangh (Ekikrat) president Mahendra Singh said the state government has taken many important decisions in the interest of employees and all employees are thankful to the government.
On this occasion, Akhil Rajasthan Prabodhak Sangh president Kesar Singh Champawat along with prabodhaks felicitated Raje.
People of Gadia Luhar community also extended gratitude to the chief minister .
