TAINTED SEERS SHOULD BE HANGED: RAMDEV

guru Ramdev on Monday said that yoga for Kashmiris and Yudh (War) with terrorists can bring peace to militancy hit Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that self styled godman, involved in heinous crimes like rapes, should be hanged to death in public.

Baba Ramdev reached Kota for the 3-day long mega yoga program which will commence on Tuesday. This will be done in view of the International Yoga Day celebrations.

About the ongoing violence and militant activities in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that teaching yoga to Kashmiris and war with militants should go hand-inhand to ensure peace in the strifetorn valley.

When asked on the issue of self styled godmens’ growing involvement in sexual offences and other crimes, Ramdev said that like MPs and MLAs, there should be code of conduct for such self styled babas too.

“Such self styled godmen should stay within their limits and refrain from giving ‘Diksha’ to anyone,” he said.

“If any self styled godman is found guilty of rape or other crimes, then they should be hanged to death at crossroads,” he said.

On being asked about relations with Rahul Gandhi, he said that he does not treat the ruling political parties or opposition party leaders as his enemy so Rahul Gandhi is his friend. He said that yoga has made people healthier in a way that has saved expenditure of people on medicines worth Rs 10 lakh crore.

About the yoga program in Kota, Ramdev said that Kota is an education city and large number of students studying here face stress problem. So the Prime Minister and chief minister of Rajasthan wanted the yoga program to be held in Kota.

He said that a record participation of people in the program would be witnessed on June 21 on International Yoga Day.
