He said that the health of troops and families is given high priority. “A state-of-the-art military hospital is being developed. A Central Sports Complex is being constructed which will boast of Astroturf hockey ground synthetic volleyball courts, synthetic basketball courts, athletics track, tennis courts, indoor badminton courts, squash courts and state-of-the-art gymnasium. Special attention has been given to preserve and develop ecological balance. A special ecology force is engaged which is mandated to plant one lakh trees every year. The station has already developed a herbal garden, which is one of its kind in the entire district. Five check dams have been constructed to harvest rainwater. This has ensured availability of adequate fodder and which is attracting various wildlife species to the station like eagles, falcons, blackbuck, chinkara, desert fox, wild boards and partridges. They can be seen moving freely in the safe and secure environs of the station.
