Hafiz Talha is contesting from NA-91 seat from Sargodha, some 200 km from Lahore, while Khalid Waleed will stand from NA-133 in Lahore on Allaha-u-Akbar Tehreek’s election symbol Chair.

Sargodha district is the home town of Hafiz Saeed, who hails from Tehsil Sillanwali.

Hafiz Talha Saeed told his suppoters that he joined politics with the manifesto of the ideology of Pakistan and would unite everyone on the basis of that ideology and also unveil all the conspiracies against the country.

Hafiz Saeed is not contesting himself while the JuD’s political wing - the Milli Muslim League party has not been registered by the election commission of Pakistan.

Hundreds of JuD candidates are running for provincial and national parliament in Pakistan’s forthcoming general elections on the platform of the AAT, till now a dormant political entity which has been given a new life.

MML president Saifullah Khalid and AAT chief Ehsan Bari have agreed to field joint candidates on the platform of ATT in the upcoming elections. Under the seat adjustment the MML will field more than 200 educated candidates.
