CAMPS SOON TO ADD NAMES FOR FOOD SECURITY SCHEME: JAIN
: The state government will be organising camps at different wards in Jaipur city to add eligible people to the list of National Food Security Scheme.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC), with the help of the district administration, will be setting up special camps from July 2 to 20.
On Monday, JMC commissioner Ravi Jain said that applications from the elderly, widows and disabled people getting pension from the central and state governments, construction workers registered with the labour department, people registered with orphanages, old age homes and kusth ashram (leprosy centres) and non-sanitation personnel and coolies will be taken in the camps.
“The elderly, widows and disabled people will have to get a copy of the order of pension approval, construction workers will have to get a copy of the certificate issued by the labour department, people with orphanage, old age homes and leprosy centres will have to get the registration certificate issued by the institution/centre, non-sanitation personnel will have to get certificate issued by the authorised officer of the local body and coolies will have to get the certificate issued by the authorised officer of railways,” said Jain.
The applicants at the camps will have to bring a copy of their ration card, domicile certificate, voter ID card, passport size photo, aadhaar card, bhamashah card etc.

TWO LAKH FARMERS GIVEN LOAN WAIVER CERTIFICATES WORTH ₹626 CRORE
Cooperative minister Ajay Singh Kilak on Monday said that camps are being organised across the state to give loan waiver certificate and disburse cooperative loans. He said 143 camps are being organised on Monday and Tuesday and it will benefit around 40,000 farmers.
Kilak said that 1,011 loan waiver camps have been organised between June 4 and 24, in which more than 2.06 lakh farmers, associated with cooperative banks, have been given loan waiver certificates worth Rs 626.11 crore.
He said farmers are being provided cooperative crop loans for the kharif season and Rs 3450 crore crop loans have been disbursed till June 24.
He said more than 1.62 lakh marginal and small farmers have been given the loan waiver certificates of Rs 502.19 crore and more than 43,500 other farmers have been provided loan waiver certificates of Rs 123.92 crore.
