34 IPS, 4 IAS and 93 RAS officers shifted
JAIPUR THE LAST MAJOR BUREAUCRATIC RESHUFFLE WAS DONE ON JULY 19 WHEN 26 DISTRICTS GOT NEW POLICE CHIEFS AND TWO DISTRICTS, NEW COLLECTORS
: The state government on Thursday transferred 34 IPS officers and posted new inspector general of police (IGs) at all the seven police ranges of the state. The police commissioner of Jodhpur was also changed. In other lists, four IAS officers and 93 RAS officers were also transferred.
The last major bureaucratic reshuffle was done on July 19 when 26 districts got new police chiefs and two districts, new collectors.
In Thursday’s list, SPs of three districts – Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Barmer – were changed again. The IGs of all the seven police ranges have been changed.
Anand Kumar Srivastava will be the new IG of Kota Range, Malini Agrawal of Bharatpur Range, Biju George Joseph of Ajmer Range, Dinesh MN of Bikaner Range, Vishal Bansal of Udaipur Range and VK Singh of Jaipur Range. In Jodhpur police range, the government posted a deputy inspector general (DIG) of police – HG Raghavendra Suhasaa. Alok Kumar Vashistha will be the new police commissioner of Jodhpur.
The list of IPS officers announced on Thursday also posted four officers who were promoted from IG to ADG rank couple of months before but weren’t posted. Hemant Priyadarshy has been posted as ADG (state crime records bureau), Govind Gupta as ADG (vigilance), Sunil Dutt as ADG (telecommunications and technical) and Amrit Kalash as ADG (antihuman trafficking).
Rajeev Kumar Sharma, who was ADG (headquarters), was posted as ADG (economic offences and cybercrime) in Thursday’s list. On Friday, he was changed again to be the new ADG (reorganization and rules). Similarly, Barhat Rahul Manhardan, who was made the new DCP of Jaipur (East) on July 19, was changed again to be the commandant of the 3rd battalion of Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC).
Rajendra Prasad Goyal will be the new SP of Jhunjhunu, Pradeep Mohan Sharma of Sikar and Manish Agarwal of Barmer. In the July 19 list, these districts respectively got Deshmukh Paris Anil, Gaurav Yadav and Sharad Chowdhary.
In the IAS transfers, Ravi Jain was transferred for the fourth time in four days. He was commissioner of Jaipur Municipal Corporation and transferred as director (agriculture) on July 19. On July 22, he was changed again and posted as commissioner, school education. On July 26, he swapped places with Dr Rajesh Sharma, and became the new commissioner of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).
In other developments, 93 RAS officers were also shifted on Thursday.
