Man arrested for killing his brother, accomplice still on the run

Police busted the murder mystery of a man and arrested the accused in Bharatpur on Thursday.

Police arrested the deceased’s brother Narendra Singh (21) while his friend Akash, another accomplice, is still on the run.

Station House officer of Kumher police, Brijesh Meena said the decomposed body of deceased Digambar Singh (24), packed in a bag, was found on Monday, in a well in a forest under police station Kumher. Police started investigat­ion after Digamber’s grand father registered a complaint.

Digamber Singh was alcoholic and used to assault his parents and villagers.

After convincing, when he did not try to mend his ways, his brother Narendra Singh decided to kill him. He took the help of his friend Akash Singh and strangled his brother to death and threw the body into a well in the nearby forest on September 4.

Narendra Singh confessed to his crime . Police are looking for his Akash who is yet to be arrested.

VAISHNODEV­I PILGRIM DIES OF HEAR ATTACK

A 58-year-old woman pilgrim from Rajasthan died after falling unconsciou­s while she was en route to the cave shrine of Vaishnodev­i in Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Wednesday, police said. Ramjanki Bain, a resident of Kota district of Rajasthan, was on her way to the shrine when she suddenly collapsed after losing consciousn­ess near the Thanda nalla, they said.
